EverQuest in Windowed Mode

EverQuest can be played in two different modes - full screen and windowed mode. Windowed mode will allow you to minimize EverQuest and go about doing other things on your computer, but can produce more video lag and performance loss than full screen mode.

To put EverQuest in windowed mode, press ALT - ENTER. Then press ALT - SHIFT - R to get mouse control to minimize the window and minimize it like you would any other program.

Please Note: You can now also do this in the Options window, via a toggle button. Also, after the Omens of War expansion you can now (at last!) use ALT - TAB to swap windows.

Warning: If you use external parsing systems like GAMParse or GINA, be aware that the text overlay features of those programs will not work in full-screen mode!
